Three generations. Same initials.
JBJ Supplies is new. The name, the know-how and the relationships behind it go back to 1931.
East Ham, 1931 to 2023
Jack Berry Jessop opened J. B. Jessop as a builders' merchant on High Street South, East Ham, in 1931. Over the decades it grew to include a shop, a yard, kitchen and bathroom showrooms, and its own delivery fleet with a crane lorry for heavy loads.
Jack's son Alan took the business on. Then Allan, Jack's grandson, became the third generation to run it, until the East Ham shop closed in 2023.
JBJ Supplies, 2024 onwards
In 2024 Allan started JBJ Supplies. The initials are his grandfather's, and his own: Allan Berry Jessop.
This time there's no shop counter. Allan works directly with the suppliers the family has dealt with for generations, and your materials go straight from the supplier to your home or site. The price you're quoted includes delivery.
Customers range from schools and ExCeL London to local builders and people doing up their own homes. Allan is happy to help anyone, with any size of job.

What ninety years in the trade gets you
